Designer Sunglasses

We all use sunglasses as an effective way to prevent our eyes from the sunlight. But how often we think about the history of Sunglasses or where they originated from.

It was discovered that Nero an Emperor of Rome enjoyed the fights of gladiators by watching through polished gems.  The early age’s sunglasses were made of lenses that were flat pans of smoke-colored quartz.  Around the twentieth century and before 1430 Chinese Judges wore smoke –colored sunglasses to conceal their expressions as a secret until trial’s conclusion. These sunglasses could not correct the vision or prevent harmful UV rays but were able to reduce glare.

In the mid of 18th century James Ayscough invented blue and green corrective lenses which gave sunglasses a new direction and it started the use of eyeglasses in correcting optical impairment. In 1929 Sam Foster, founder of Foster Grant Company introduced sunglasses in America. His Foster Grants were the first mass produced sunglasses and since then sunglasses underwent into change and became as a popular item as they are today.  These sunglasses were designed to protect the eyes from the harmful UV rays. In 1936 Edwin H. Land founder of Polaroid Corporation began using his patented Polaroid filter at the time of manufacturing sunglasses and started manufacturing Polaroid Sunglasses. By this time sunglasses were all the rage and lots of Americans started using sunglasses. They started to become not only a means to protect against the sun but also a symbol of being ‘Cool’.  Many musicians and Actors started wearing sunglasses.

Sunglasses not only impressed the ordinary people but also attracted the attention of the army officials towards its benefits. In 1930 the Army Air Corps asked Bosch & Lomb to develop some kind of sunglasses for their pilot that can effectively reduce the sun glare while flying.

In 1937 Ray Ban developed anti-glare sunglasses using polarization and this made Aviator glasses popular in public and also in Movie stars as well. By the start of 1970 Sunglasses became a fashion symbol, film star and fashion designers made a huge impact on the sunglasses industry. Many designers and stars gave their names to the sunglasses and people were ready to have them.

By technology getting improved day by day we are getting new brands and models of these sunglasses on very rapid speed. From holding gems up to the eyes to watch gladiators to the latest Sunglasses with music player this industry is improving and increasing day by day and is becoming unpredictable.

SunGlasses

Replica Sunglasses are now used widely as fashion symbol. But earlier it was not used as it is being used now. In early days, wearing eyeglass was not considered as trendy. At that Point of time it was a perception that a person who often read books mostly suffer from the vision problem. But now definition of sunglasses has been changed. It is now being used for many purposes:

– Visual Help Aid

–For Protection of Eyes from UV Rays

–Being Fashionable

Visual Help Aid:

Sunglasses improve the comfort and clarity of visualization by protecting eyes from bright light of sun.

For Protection of Eyes From UV Rays:

Because of the Global warming the changing climatic conditions has resulted the very high radiations of UV rays.  As a result of these high and UV rays more people are suffering from eyes and skin diseases. High radiations of ultraviolet rays can cause short-term and long-term ocular problems e.g. photokeratitis, snow blindness, cataracts, pterygium, and different kind of eye cancer. Sunglasses are the best way to protect the eyes from ultraviolet rays.  Therefore the replica sunglasses which we choose should always be protective or it should be good enough to protect our eyes from visible light and harmful ultraviolet rays.

Sunglasses not only protect the eyes from the ultraviolet rays they are also helpful in keeping our eye protected from dust and flash sunlight.

Being Fashionable:

Sunglasses are not only used to protect from the harmful rays they are also used as fashion symbol. Nowadays people wear sunglasses as a fashion accessory which makes them look more fashionable. This trend of wearing Sunglasses for fashion was actually started by the Movie stars or Sports Men.

People from high class society usually spend a huge amount of money on designer sunglasses of big brands like Ferrari, Gucci, Morgan , Nike etc. for good and nice look. But an average earner who do not have wallet full of money to spend on sunglasses every time the trend changes prefer to buy  cheap sunglasses or replica sunglasses to cope with the latest trend and be in the fashionable world.

Moreover some people wear sunglasses even if it is dark or if they are indoor in order to look trendy. Wearing glasses at night can make you trendy and fashionable while partying or clubbing, but some time while walking on road or while driving in dark wearing sunglasses can be harmful for you. So it is good to be fashionable or trendy but it is stupidity if we are not taking care of our self.  So it is advisable not to wear sunglasses at night.

PolarizedIn the modern time knockoff sunglasses have become an object of style and a fashion symbol for the people of all society and ages. However most of the people still have confusion about how to buy sunglasses according to their personality. Below listed are some general point one should check before buying sunglasses:

Don’t go by price:

It is not necessary that a wholesale sunglasses with high price tag will always be protective. Always try to do some research on UV ratings and also the review of different brands and models. Also if you are one of the average earner which normally don’t have a wallet full of money to spend on the thing which will go out of fashion right away it is always better to chose with your eyes and mind open and think of buying a style that will last long through all four seasons.

Don’t always follow the current trend:

Sunglasses should be bought according to the personality of the individual. Just because any of your favorite movies star or sports person is wearing a new style sunglasses doesn’t means that it will look good with your personality and also it doesn’t means that the style will last for a long time. Until unless you are a big shot who is ready to spend a huge amount of money on sunglasses every week, one should always look for the classic style that will add charm to your personality and also makes you look good even the trend changes rapidly.

Choose the right color of lenses:

The color of the lenses affects your visibility of different objects and also the depth perception. Grey is the most popular and suitable color of lenses as it always gives a picture which is quite similar with the real one. Also there are colors like brown, green, yellow and orange increase the clarity and also improve the depth perception.

Look for the best materials:

Always chose the sunglasses according to your daily needs. For example if you are a athlete then you might want a durable sunglasses on the other hand is you are a office executive then you can go with some fancier ones depending upon you budget.

Sunglasses are the basic accessories of our fashion so it is always better to check all the available options online and offline before opening your wallet for any those.

Sunglasses have become all the rage in recent years and are very much considered a fashion statement. With designers jumping on board to create high-fashion sunglasses many forget that their are utilitarian glasses and not all shades are made equal. The fashion specks peddled by designer labels are not necesserily the best shades to use for a sports related business. In short you probably should not be skiing down the slopes in D&G or Coach, but fear not their are a pair of sunglasses to fit every single sporting need.

Brands to Look out For

Oakley brand and Oakley replicas are designed to take on the damage that physical activity can inflict on a pair of sunglasses. Oakley is a sports glasses superstar in the industry. The company designs glasses for every possible sport with extremely customizable fits and impact resistant frames. The replica version Oakley sunglasses offer most of the same features at a fraction of the cost. Overall a solid pair of sports sunglasses

Nike, the world renown sneaker peddler, has long offered sunglasses for the far more active group of wearers. Rugged frames are what Nike is known for and replicas follow the same set of guidelines when putting together a sport frame. Nike considers the frame the most important part of the sunglasses, they are not made to be the most stylish, but they do get the job done and done well.

The winter sport lover has probably heard of The North Face. The North Face is my personal brand of sports sunglasses for when I'm on the mountain. A nice snug fit makes them perfect for very active sports and the lenses are calibrated to provide protection to the eyes especially on those blindingly bright mountains. Overall the company has basically made it obvious that their world revolves around rugged winter sports and so will their sunglasses.he

Replica vs. Designer

While a sports enthusiast never wants to skimp on equipement replica sunglasses are a great option when shopping around. For a fraction of the price consumers will get sunglasses that are made from the same durable materials and if they get lost or broken it is really water under the bridge. Consumers should look for UV protection and flexible frames for a pair of sunglasses specifically intended for outdoor sport use. The North Face actually has incredibly reasonable pricing on their sunglasses so really the designer brand might be the best way to go for a winter sport pair of sunglasses. The company knows how to do it right when it comes to the winter and their sunglasses collection is no exception to the rule.

Some girls love flowers, others diamonds and yet other purses. What really gets me excited is sunglasses. While the traditional jewelry gift is always nice and flowers say "I love you" sunglasses say "I really know who you are!"

Buying sunglasses as a gift; whether for a male or female, mother, brother or significant other, can be a difficult task. They are not necessarily one size fits all and style, shape and intended purpose are all important factors to consider.

First and foremost shape is something that needs to be considered, and I don't just mean the shape of the glasses. Someone with a small head or narrow face will be completely swallowed up by large framed sunglasses. On the other hand tiny frames will be a poor fit for someone with a larger face shape. When buying sunglasses as a gift it is probably best to scope out the style the recipient wears before hand and aim for something in the middle of large and small. A medium size frame with an oval or round shape flatters most faces.

After shape is taken care of the intended purpose of the sunglasses needs to be considered as well. If the recipient of the sunglasses gift is a sports fanatic an impact resistant wrap-style pair of sunglasses are probably the best fit. If the recipient is using the glasses to lounge at the pool or as a fashion statement the traditional shield-style sunglasses are perfectly acceptable and probably preferred.

Most quality sunglasses will have UVA and UVB protection, but buyers should always inquire about UV protection with the seller. There is  no use in buying sunglasses if they are not going to do their intended job. Finally after the sunglasses are bought make sure a durable case is purchased or included to go along with the present and you should be set.

Buying quality sunglasses online is a great way to go for gift shopping as buyers can see everything they need right in front of them. No inquiring questions to uninterested sales people and more importantly the gift can be shipped nice and neatly in gift packaging from the get-go.

As sunglasses have become more and more of a fashion statement their original purpose and intent has quickly become hidden beneath designer labels. What is currently being peddled by top name designers is probably not what most people will want to be wearing when they are getting active or hitting the slopes. Fear not, there are some top designer brands that offer great sport related sunglasses.

Oakley is a high end peddler of Active sports sunglasses. Known for their customizable frames and impact resistant construction the brand is popular with those involved in contact sports. What's nice about Oakley is that they offer different lenses for different lighting conditions and sports making the pair truly customizable.

Nike also offers a wide range of sunglasses for those living an active lifestyle. Nike sunglasses are extremely popular with runners as the polarized lenses and UV protection offers a great deal more than just a pair of sunglasses, but rather it offers a great safety device. The frames range from metal memory construction to hard plastic with impact resistance.

My personal favorite is The North Face sunglasses. A great pair of winter sport sunglasses are not easy to find and more difficult to find at reasonable pricing. The North Face is a company that has long had a share in the winter sport market with jackets, boots and other cold weather gear but their sunglasses are perfect for fresh powder and carving a trail down a black diamond. The construction is pretty rigid and a tight fit makes things stay put. The lenses are optimized for the glare that one associates with the sun and snow so everything looks and feels great the entire ride down.

Replicas of all these brands are also avaliable on the market and with a great construction and the same features they often are a great bargain. Check out Sunglass Tips for more information about great sports glasses

Wholesale polarized sunglasses are a great item to stock up on if you're looking to increase the amount of sunglass sales in your business. Many people seek sunglasses with polarized lenses and by stocking this type of eyewear you will definitely see a boost in your sales.

Polarized sunglasses are a special type of sunglass that have lenses that block polarized light. Light is considered "polarized" when it travels on a single plane. Normal light travels in all directions, but light that is reflected off surfaces such as water do not. This kind of reflected light is transmitted on a horizontal plane and is the cause of some nasty glare!

Wholesale polarized sunglasses contain lenses that block this kind of light. The horizontally reflected light is filtered out through the vertical polarization filters in polarized sunglasses. By wearing these types of sunglasses you effectively reduce the glare from reflective surfaces such as water and roads.

The benefits that polarized sunglasses bring to the wearer are what make them desirable. Boaters, fisherman and drivers appreciate the greatly enhanced vision that these lenses bring. For some people, polarized sunglasses are the only sunglasses they will wear and that is why it is important to have a selection of these sunglasses in your display.

One way to boost your sales and please your customers is to offer polarized sunglasses along with your other styles of replica sunglasses. Diversify the styles you have and higher profits will soon follow!

I used to break a lot of my sunglasses. When I was at home I would just toss them onto whatever was nearby when I wasn't wearing them and my carelessness ended up with many sunglasses that died before their time. I have since changed my ways and have started using hard cases to store and protect my sunglasses.

The nice thing about hard sunglass cases is that there are so many colors and designs they come in. You don't have to settle for a blue case if a blue case is not what you want. You can get hard cases in just about any color you want, and if a solid color is not our thing then there are patterns available as well. One such pattern is a "plaid" pattern like the case in the above picture.

The major benefit that hard cases provide is the great protection they provide to your sunglasses. You don't have to worry about your sunglasses getting crushed or broken when you store them inside one of these cases. The life span of your sunglasses will greatly increase by using hard cases to store your sunglasses when not wearing them. I have damaged and destroyed so many sunglasses in the past, but with the help of a hard case I now have a pair that has lasted me over two years.

If you want to greatly extend the life of your sunglasses then I would definitely recommend getting a hard case to store your sunglasses in. Most of the damage sunglasses receive is when they are not on your face and if they're tucked safely inside a case you can ensure that your sunglasses will stay protected.

When you're riding down the road on a motorcycle it is important to shield your eyes from the sun's rays as well as flying objects. Wearing a great pair of motorcycle sunglasses will protect you from both dangers and make you look good while doing it!

When looking for a good pair of motorcycle sunglasses you want to make sure that they're capable of protecting your eyes while riding. You want to make sure that the lenses are high quality and provide complete protection from UV rays. Avoid flimsy sunglasses where you aren't sure if the lenses provide this kind of protection.

Also make sure that the sunglasses as a whole are made of durable materials and that they fit your face well. You don't want sunglasses that don't fit your face well while riding as it is dangerous to be constantly adjusting their position while you're zipping down the road. Sportier styles made of plastic are usually good at fitting to your face snugly, and if you choose metal framed sunglasses look for ones with spring hinges. Spring hinges are known for their great fit and ability to hold to your face better than normal hinges.

Anyone riding a motorcycle should look into ways of protecting their eyes while riding. Wearing a nice pair of motorcycle sunglasses is a great way of accomplishing that!

One of the widely coined phrases in the sunglass world is the term "knock off sunglasses". People unfamiliar with that terminology can become confused on what that means and if it's a good thing or a bad thing. For those of you who are unacquainted with this word, let me explain what it means.

Knock off, or knockoff (one word), sunglasses are just another name for replica sunglasses. This somewhat common form of terminology is often considered more of a slang term for replica designer sunglasses as a whole.

Like many other things, replica sunglasses are often known by many different names. Some other common names for replica sunglasses are:

  • Imitation sunglasses
  • Cheap sunglasses
  • Discount sunglasses
  • Fake sunglasses
  • Imposter sunglasses
  • Inspired by sunglasses

All of the above words are often used when referring to replica sunglasses. It is important to note that out of all these different names the one to watch closely is "fake sunglasses". Depending on how it is used and what product it is referring to, "fake sunglasses" can either be a good thing or a bad thing. If the fake sunglasses in question are actual copies of a designer label, then they are in fact violating the work of the designer and are illegal to buy or sell. On the other hand, if the sunglasses are not copies and contain no designer label on them then they are legal to own and legal to sell.

Knowing more of the names that replica sunglasses are referred to as will help you in finding them in the search engines. If the search engine results for "replica sunglasses" aren't to your liking, you can try searching under these other names. You will likely be presented with a fresh set of results and thus you will be exposed to more options in your quest in buying replica designer shades.
